Welcome to Healing Pointes, PLC! My name is Lea Martinico, LMSW, and I am thrilled that you are taking that first step toward your mental wellness. I am a fully licensed Masters level social worker with years of experience with ages ranging from teens to older adults. My goal is to provide supportive therapy services for all of my neighbors in Grosse Pointe and surrounding areas.

Individual Counseling

There are many reasons for wanting to start therapy and that is why it is so important for each treatment to be individualized to meet your needs. Let's work together to find the best version of you!

I provide in office, telehealth as well as in home for select clients that are unable to utilize the stairs in office- we do not have an elevator, unfortunately.

I would love to be able to explore this with you through the scientifically proven method called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) CBT begins and ends by identifying the link between our thoughts, feelings and behaviors.

What can I expect from my first counseling session?

During your first session, I will take the time to get to know you and understand your goals for counseling.

Do you offer virtual counseling sessions?

Yes, I am able to provide virtual support through a secure platform.

Do you accept insurance?

Private pay cost is $95 per hour session.

I currently accept Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, BCN, Priority Health and Optum/United Health Care/United Behavioral Health

What if I am unable to safely manage stairs to your second floor office?

If you live in or around the Grosse Pointes, I would be happy to accommodate you in your home/agreed upon location.

Healing Pointes is conveniently located across from Grosse Pointe South High School in the Fisher Mews building. Just look for the red door in the court yard and you'll be sure to find us!

Healing Pointes is located on the second floor in Suite D- unfortunately, there are no elevator accommodations.
